Countries Without a President Won't Approve Moves

A player-run country has jacked up the tax rate on me, so I took the opportunity to move the corporation for free.

There's just one problem: the destination country, The Empire of Mangra, hasn't approved the move for a full game year.

How long does this paperwork really take?

cancel the move

only request moves to countries that have "you can purchase this country" box enabled

the ones with "available in 1 week" will never approve until they become "you can purchase" country

Well I've waited this long, when it becomes 'you can purchase' will it automatically approve at that point? I may as well wait it out.
