did you make any changes to PE calculation? I see some incredible jumps:

No change what so ever.

999 meand the corporation is making losses.

P/E ratio falling, means profitability is improving.
It falls very quickly if the corporation becomes profitable.

It is harder when you hit lower values.

Changes between 200 and 999 happen frequently.
