200 wars

I just found out that once your empire is involed in 200 wars your are only able to declare on countries with a war level 4 or higher. Why is this? It seems to penalize for what reason?
This will extremly limit the war game for these empires.
In my case this is extremly fun and productive and this limit would be very frustrating.

200 wars?

if your empire has more than 4 or 5 countries (explained before on the forum please check), a war on a c3 country is in war level 4.
if you have more countries in the empire, the level will increase.

this has nothing to do with the number of wars but with the size of the empire.

how many countries do you have now?

I'm not sure what the purpose of limiting your ability to fight war level 3 countries are based on. Why the size of your empire would matter. It is extremely time consuming and difficult to manage large empires already. The advantage of supplying your countries through direct transfers per month is already limited by a preset limit that can be increased by a booster. 5 counties can supply way more than this would allow. If your in a federation and you have not signed a war treaty then you can not help your fed mates, who more than likely are depending on you. I'm not even sure if you did sign the war treaty if you would be allowed to fight. (clarify this when you can please). Ive had more than 5 countries for a long time and was always able to attack a warlevel 3 country. Rob has surpassed the 200 number and is limited to level 4 and above. Again why should there be any limit at all. It seems the better you do you are getting penalized.
This is a very important part of the game for me and hopefully this can be addressed and resolved,

I think there is a misunderstanding. You are talking about war with C3 countries, war levels and expanding your empire. We are addressing concerns on player verses player wars, and the preset limits. Please address this issue, if it can be changed or not. This will then allow me to see if I can adjust my strategies and move forward or just start over.

this is about 200 PvP wards?
is this the number of wars won and lost?
no C3 wars.
How many wars are going on now? or did all wars end?

I'm not sure if it is the total number of wars fought, player vs player. The messages is ( You have won more than 200 wars. You can not attack a war level 3. Please attack a higher level.

198 - Wins
18 - Losses
And a few draws.
I'm not sure if it is including C3 wars that increase your war levels. To be honest I can not recall how many wars I have actually been in.
Most players are at war level 3, and few seem to go higher. The disadvantage comes when a player takes a country or countries next to you (or in range), and your unable to properly respond to a foreseen threat. This puts me at a great disadvantage. Now I'm spending time energy and money building defenses on perceived threat that may or may not materialize.

If 200 is the limit, than you should have been stopped before as you are now beyond 200.
counting wins only? I would not know why and you are not there yet.

Why should there be any limit to the number of wars either fought or won?
FB is a war world.

I agree with Jeff. Seems you had similar discussions on White Giant, but reversed. Players were upset at individual empires staying below war level 3. Now it seems on Fearless Blue your punished for fighting too many wars on the only planet designated as the war planet, and then no longer able to declare war on war level 3 countries. If this is the case then all countries on Fearless Blue should be mandated to move up war levels at designated time intervals. This would be the only fair solution I can see. It would make more since just to remove this rule. Allow unlimited numbers of wars once war level 3 is achieved.

There is no limit to the number of wars.
we never intended to create such a limit.

There is an error. We will find out and correct it.

it is clearly a bug and we depend on players to report them so we can fix them.

Jan. 6 is a bad date.

We have fixed it.

here is what happened:
FB had a simple problem with a mail server and started generating lots of files.
The free disk space declined and the system stopped many processes to protect the integrity of the data bases.

The 200 countries problem is not forgotten.
It will be taken care off ASAP.

Just wanted to get an update on the war limitations you were going to remove / adjust. You wrote that it would be done in the next two upgrades. Are you still planning on addressing this issue?
