Sometimes when placing a buy order for shares with the default value in the Quantity box, you'll receive an error that "You cannot bid on more than X shares at the moment." But the X shares is the amount you tried to bid on. If you reduce the Quantity by 1, the bid goes through.
I think there is a rounding error somewhere when determining number of shares someone can buy that causes this error. It might be related to the total number of shares available (since the default number in the quantity box is just a percent of the total shares)
