Resource deposits and New Corps.

So after some time of looking in to this i have found and discovered that:
When i have started new mining corps as a Enterprise and selected a deposit that is either listed in the first selection menu or when i look directly in the country's resources and the deposits i'm selecting and it's amount does not add up with what the amount that the corp is showing it has once it's been established.
I'm talking about a resource difference of 30 times less than what is initially shown in the visible lists.
Got pictures of it too.
Which all leads to my question:
Why is this happening and why is not the resource amount in the lists updated to show the actual amount's in the deposits?
And if that's how it's suppose to be...what's the point of selecting the deposits then?

The amount of natural resource as showing when you start the corporation is never changed.

the same amount should show in the corporation once it is created.
the amount starts to decline, every game month as the resource is used in the corporation.

For the listed amount of resources is not given to the established corps on those deposits.

I think his point is that when you're building enterprise mining corporations in a nation with multiple deposits, you do not always end up with a corporation on the deposit you select.

It makes sense to try to build on the largest deposit, but when you "build" on the deposit, you're not actually assigned that one in particular - it seems you're often assigned another deposit from the same country.

Perhaps you get the first available one instead of the one having the biggest deposit. He shared some images of a test of this in the simcountry discord.

We have tested it by building 4 corporations.
we have chosed a natural resource that was availble on the list of natural resources only once.
in this way, we were sure the corporation we build will use that specific resource.

in all four cases, the available quantity of product reported on the new corporation page was identical to the amount of product that appeared on the list of natural resources.

there is here no error.

We assume that what Eeee Oooo is saying is correct.
If there are several deposits available of the same product, and you build a corporation, you do not know which one will be used.

Then i don't see a point in being able to chose a site with X amount of resources if it's just gonna give you a random spot with a X amount of that resource.
And there was only one deposit of Aluminium in the country of Randosa that was listed or shown.
So as you guy's did the test i did too.
And in the pics provided i even show you the name of the country and the listed amount of that one resource and it was only 1 Aluminium deposit listed and now there is no deposit listed for aluminium.

Also there is a problem with direct contracts to countries with wind farm corps not selling to the contracted country but only to the world market.
It's been reported in the: Help topic, with the post name: Contracts Not Being Filled.

The game builds a mining corporation on the deposit that is closest to the top of the list, while still being the same resource in the same country.

IE, if a country has 3 deposits of Oil, as follows

5,000,000,000
10,000,000,000
1,000,000,000

no matter which one you 'click', it will build on the 5,000,000,000 deposit, because that is the one at the top of the list.

As such, I only look at the first deposit of each resourse, for each country, when building a resource producing corporation. As that is the one you will build on, no matter which one you click on.
