New Corporation Settings Constantly Reset in All Countries

Hello,

All of my countries' settings under "Automation" and "New Corporations" under "supply quality" reset to 100. Every month.

Examples
WG: Media
GR: Exile
FB: Into the Night

Every single one of my countries used settings different than they've been reset to. When I attempt to update them, they default back to 100 each game month. All of my countries (currently more than 30) have been reset and changed.

Every new corporation is built with 100 supply quality. The settings to change this do not work. Seems like a quick fix.

I think he's right, but I haven't been paying close enough attention. will check back with my observations.

I'm having the same issue since at least a week ago.

I looked at Media,

supply quality for new corporations was 100.
I will check what it does.

existing corporations supply quality is set on the supply tab on the corporations page.

There I see 219 for most corporations and 100 for some wind turbine corporations.

can you explain more about what happens.

There was no change in the game, in this functions for several years.

Thanks for the update Andy. That's exactly my point. I set Media to be 219, not 100. It automatically reverts IN EVERY COUNTRY to 100 now. There are 219 quality corps there because when I built most of that country, the feature worked. Something has broken in the last2-6 months. I don't know when.

Most of the corps have 219 because that is what is intended and what was done before.

GR is where I have been building new corporations and a good place to look (example, country 'Exile' or 'Expansion'). I set the automatic settings for whatever I want (maybe 220).

Then when a new corporation is built I notice it's built at 100 supply quality default. I then go to check the automatic settings for new corporations and it has been reverted from the setting I made (220) back to 100 for supply quality.

In the mean time, I tested and indeed, you are right.

I only see it in the settings for new corporations.
It is of course an error but the damage is limited.
it is not changing any quality settings for existing corporations.
please correct me if I am wrong.

I suspect that it is very old.
we did not have any update in that part of simcountry for a very long time.
I cannot find any other recent change that could have caused it as a side effect.

I noticed the login. No problem. I appreciate logins from GMs to investigate things like this to be honest.

From what I can tell, your understanding is correct in that it's only new corporations that are impacted. One player in chat mentioned they'd noticed the issue since February.

Regardless, hopefully it is not such a big fix and can get added into a future update.

I do not think it is a major problem to fix but I am confused as to where it came from and why we did not notice it for probably a very long time.

EO is correct, I sent this exact issue to the game master email address on Feb 20th with details and screenshots. Hopefully that helps to give you an idea of any changes around that time frame which could have caused this.

In general, we do receive all mails and we always react. Not always very fast.

You in fact confirm that this error is old.

I think it is very very old.

we will find out why and fix it.
it may take some time.
