Simcountry widgets

I tested a few of the widgets and found a few issues:


1. Latest Game News
Shows no results. If it is the latest, it should be showing the five topics of October 22, 2023.

On a side note, we are almost a year without any updates in the Game News page.


2. Latest Vote Results
Shows no results. Should refer March 24, 2022.


3. World Statistics
I only checked for Little Upsilon, but it states there are 374 Public Corporations. I understand these as Publicly Traded Corporations (there are shares being traded, regardless of who controls it). If that's the case, the number should be 1208.

As a suggestion, please change the wording from Enterprise Corporations to Enterprises. It gives the impression there are 49 corporations controlled by Enterprises in the world, instead of 49 Enterprises.


4. Trading & Products
4.1. It

Please don't take this as nitpicking you in any way because that is not intended at all. I am 100% for people putting in effort and putting their experiences and ideas out there. I did it frequently myself. While I am skeptical, it's not of you. I truly do hope that the GM at least takes the time to read and respond to what you say. People that come into the game with as much gusto as you and willingness to try to help the game often unfortunately don't last long as they find their words fall on deaf ears. I hope that to not be the case for you.

Having said that, the nitpicking part. None of what's posted here really belongs in the Problems section. That isn't to invalidate anything said here, if you learn anything about me, you'll know that your very first point on here is one I very frequently implore the GM to take care of. In fact if I weren't around the most recent update listed there would likely be from

No harm taken, auditor. I see where you are coming from, because in listing all of the problems with the widgets I offered some advice. One cannot continually point out issues without offering anything back.

That said, the post does belong in this section. This is a list of problems relevant to existing features in this game, widgets, that are not working as intended. You may have gotten accustomed to them over the years, but to anyone new here they give the site the look of a state of disrepair...

These are not to be taken as priorities of things to do right away, but as small jobs to do when you don't want to tackle the next big project.

I see the Game News page has been updated, but the widget still says "Game News not available".
