Population not showing up in eomployment numbers

I used a 5x population booster because recent changes to corporation size, and aging demographics put my country short of employees. After adding 5 million people to my country, my employment figures remain practically identical to yesterday before I used the booster.

I just spent 30GC for it to not reflect in game beyond the headline population number.

Andy, I think you can disregard this. Everything did eventually show up how it was supposed to. I was also unaware to the extent you were changing corporation hiring.
