I see that I am not the only one experiencing salary reduction problems.I have turned off all my automation for my corporations and the game continues as if it is was still on.This game has a great potential for being very enjoyable and at first I was willing to introduce it to my friends. However at this point in time I can honestly say I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Any reduction in personnel gets the same message regardless of the reason for the reduction.

I kept getting the same message until I started looking closely at my population trading. All information is accessible in the unemployment page. The chart in "change professions of some workers" is easier to read but lacks executives. You should try to have more unemployed workers than the sum of "need for 100% production" and "needed for new facilities".

If you have a shortage in any category of worker companies will start losing them. Salaries get cut at the same time.

Shortages in doctors or teachers will get schools and hospitals shutdown.

Salary reductions are a non issue now. They are only reduced when you are suffering ongoing long term losses. And I've noticed it actually does a bit in the way of reducing your expenses.
