IPO Changes -automatic IPO

4. Automatic IPOs [ top ]
Like in the real world, huge corporations are always public corporations. In the game, it is possible for a player to perform an IPO when a corporation reaches a value of 150 B. When the value is much higher, an IPO will be automatic.

Automatic IPOs take place when the value of a corporation reaches 350 B. This value may change in the future if the average value of corporations will change substantially.

The value for an IPO is now 300 billion - what is the number for an automatic IPO?

Lol, I haven't heard of an automatic IPO for ages.

Good question...Do they still happen? and under what circumstances?

It's got me worried. I have completed my first IPO - and screwed it up (by not buying up enough shares with my CEO) - and have at least one more corp ready to IPO - but I'd like to wait a bit. Or at least prepare so it doesn't catch me completely by surprise.

Just do the IPO quickly, before the corp has a chance to issue 2 shares for one when the numbers can confuse. You can't really mess around and the price will probably shoot up, so best be quick.

I dont think you have to worry about auto IPOing, (but I dont promise :/)

Probably because I can't figure out how to make myself visible.

From the documentation it's supposed to happen around 1500B. I don't have anything that close yet ready to IPO, but I'm working on it.
