As a new player, I would find this thread an utter put-off. I suggest every player who's replied with anything other than "welcome" edit their post and say something less frightening and a little more welcoming, since this thread is directed towards noobs who don't know and don't care about arguments between players.

My response: hmmmm I tend to lean in this direction. Those who are vehemently defensive and outraged over being accused of something they are not implies guilt, otherwise they would not be so outraged or care, being confident in who they are. That is just what I learned in my Psychology 112 course last semester. :P

certain arguments can be made either way. you could say, that if said person doesn't defend themselves, its because they are guilty. so this is a case that trying to psycho analyze whoes guilty based on their response, can be twisted to mean anything you want, regardless of the actual evidence.

not to mention, why shouldn't a person be upset when accused of cheating? to say they are guilty because they defend themselves, is rather silly!!

How about becoming defensive over an accusation that was never made?

What you did can be likened to a cheating partner caught with telephone numbers in his pockets, who goes onto deflect his own guilt and gets defensive and upset about his partner rifling through his pants.
