In these recent days my Financial Index has dropped from 147 to 139 just today and I never learned exactly what components influence this number, nor have I discovered any documentation regarding this.
Someone please help .I do have 5 countries and I know this is a factor.

New Haven on KB, security off

I have the same issue. I think its due to build government facilities like schools, hospitals, etc.

But build a good country welfare index its a good investment.

Check your country expenses!!

Cheers!!

You need to make sure several basic things are in order in your country:

education and education priorities must produce the professionals you need for your corporations.
make sure you do not have shortages.

increase your education index to 150+, later to 200+ to educate enough people.

make sure your corporations hire at 100%, and have all the raw materials, upgrade automatically and they will become profitable.

increase your welfare index. for that, you need to increase several other indexes.

don't build an army. weapons cost a lot of money and your cash will drop. It will also increase your monthly cost.

debt is not bad if the money is invested in welfare and sucessful corporations.

Contracts with your own corps guarantee deliveries.
the price however is not great.

this has two effects:
it reduces the profit of the corporation
and
it reduces the cost for the country.
so it does not matter much.

The best way to get out of debt is to grow your economy and increase your income.
cutting cost helps too by a larger economy is more important.

are you in the phase of receiving gifts when you login or are you past that stage?

People will likely want to know your World, Country, type of Corp and the name of the Corp in question.
