Question (wg) (White Giant)

It has been as long time since I played this game, I recently came back to give it another spin.

From what I remember I always thought it was common courtesy to leave corps alone if they are owned by an active player or is it common nowadays for presidents to buy up CEO corps if they happen to be in the country they acquire?.

Its a combination of ignorance of new players and the inability of other players to be able to do anything about it anymore.

I have a question. How can I completely get rid of my army? I mean having no soldiers and therefore no army cost... I think it's useless to have about 130k soldiers if I don't use them anyway. Can someone help me?

Sell your armed forces, destroy forts (if you really don't need them) or deactivate for lower costs.

Who needs forts anymore? I use them to doodle on my countries now. Lol

Thanks! I have noticed after I wrote this that when I sold my tanks the monthly use of ammunition went zero. And also there were a few soldiers fired. Anyway... You were really helpful.

Ok, so I got rid of all my weapons. But how do I destroy forts? And military airports? There's no button for selling or destroying...
