Docking station help

hey guys! Recently when I bough my first cargo shuttle I sent it up to a space station. I decided to rent a dock on a space station. I sent my shuttle to the station, but it would not let me mange cargo because it said I didn't have any dock stations on the space station even though I rented one. I clicked on the lease button like 5 times and it still says I do not have a docking station. what is going on?
