Hello and I was wandering, how do I make my country get more money?

I logged in today to discover that my country has gone from 2.10 T SC$ to 1.30 T SC$ and I was wandering why?

So I took all of the information in my arsenal and looked at the taxes, 30% as allways, my edu. priority's, nope all in the safe 100-130 limit I set for my country, and my corporations have been prospering and it should be generating good revenue.

And as a side note I completely recovered from that war that accured about 1 game year ago so its not that.

If anyone can help me please do, and thank you for the help in advance.

it's more like trial and error

when the country you took over is a c3, the gm put some support under it to balance your finance. once you took over, those supports fall apart and you have to figure it out.

i've been here just about a month, and i think population, production, education, etc are the drivers of a country. military seems to be a negative on the economy of the country, as it is a cost to the country rather than a revenues generator.

you can always put more us$ in, but that's kindda like cheating your way out; and i suspect that's what the gm wants you to do, as they always willing to sell you gc for us$ rather than give you clue how to generate sc$ within your country.

General rules:
A) Always have maximum quality units.
B) Avoid allowing the units to be resupplied during the war, this will reduce the quality of the weapons/ammo used to resupply by 50%. the easy way of accomplishing this is to not have supply units while fighting a C3.
C) Dismantle and reform units as needed during the war (probably won't need to do this), and always dismantle/reform units at the end of the war.
D) Feel free to ignore suggested ammo, but note that units will be resupplied (if you ignored B and kept supply units) at 50% quality of ammo used to resupply if the country stock still has ammo sitting around... so a good idea to shove all the ammo in the units you use as well.
E) Where possible, always use select target from list to be sure you got everything.

Using air:
1) Airdrop Special Forces and start painting.
2) Pick an undefended target, attack

One of the things to look for when your money drops is your country's consumption. If you just made some large purchasing orders, it'll eat into your cash reserves.

Another thing to look for is new corporations - if you still have that on auto, it's a factor to consider - at roughly 65 billion a pop, they can drain you fast.

Look at your monthly expenses as well, to see if anything goes out of whack.

I'm running a much higher health, education, and transportation system than you. That brings corporate welfare up, allowing you to produce more per each corporation, maximizing your profits.

If you are using the 3c to grow your population, I'd leave a few factories standing. Target the loss leaders (those with end products in a down market) and try and keep a few profit makers running 9even better if there are privately owned corps there). You can always close them down later - and that wi

And note: If you are relatively new your beginners income boost will be dropping. You might think you are initially making a good income but you must factor out that beginners boost to see the real situation as it will slowly disappear.

The above were for attacking neigbouring countries. What about invading countries far away(eg. no border or in another continent)
