Advice on taking over a new country

Hey Im a novice player I had an account a while ago and just started playing again. My country wasnt in the best of shape so I dismantled my military completely and sold mostly everything. I used that money to invest in infrastructure. Built up all of my indexes. Now I have 2.77 trillion left to spend I figured taking over another country was the next logical step. However I have no military. I wanna take over a country rather quick with spending the least amount possible. What type of units should I buy and set up for a quick take over of a c3?

I wish I had have asked this before attempting it myself...been an econ only player for a while now and totally screwed up a c3 takeover.

don't go the war route, will take forever to get the damaged countries back up. i'm trying to going the buying route when i have enough gc.
