Starting New Company

Is there something I'm missing?

I gave the order to start a company. It was scheduled to be completed June.

I have the production plant in inventory.

I do not have the workers to fill it yet but is says 'There is no need to have all workers to staff the corporation'

I am a free member are we not allowed to make new companies?

I is December and now it says January. Game keeps pushing it out another month since June.

maybe you don't have enough money. You need to have +300B in cash I guess.

Country: Empire of Barba sol
Company: paper (but 4 more behind them, were spaced 2 months apart now all bunched up)

Why would I need it? Float for the company?

I already have 6 production plants in stock for the companies.

I now have 1.3T in cash

It's now April in the game and still no company.

This is frustrating. I played this game many years ago when it was new and never had an issue like this. Not a great look for a well established game.

If I can't build any companies is there any point in trying to play this game?

Lol,I think it is a bit too early to question the integrity of the game. It appears that you have massive worker shortages. 4/8 of your current corps are understaffed. Does it show red in certain worker categories when you click details on the corp you are trying to build?

I am missing high tech eng, which I am training 88 points of my 120.

The game specifically says when you build a new company 'There is no need to have all workers to staff the corporation' So this is incorrect? (also have my education rating up to 100+)

4/8 of your corps are understaffed,while you have 6 corps in the build que. While there is no need to have all workers available I think you have ventured beyond the limit. Ideally, you dont want to build anything until all your current corps are fully staffed due to certain mechanics anyways. I would cancel the qued corps. Work on getting the current ones staffed, then try to build one.
