i've played games like this for quite a few years

i had an experience in one of them, when i started, i of course was defeated, and i felt as you did, that their should be a "code of conduct,"

i sent the player that defeated me a pretty nasty message to that effect, and he actually sent me back a very polite message, stating that it is a game, and a war game at that...

about a year later, i was getting nasty messages from players, about a "code of conduct," and i sent back polite messages about it being a game, and a war game at that...

btw, i did appologize to that player for the nasty message...

3 months truely is a good chunk of your life, but this game takes years to master, a little patience would do you well

also, their are more peacefull worlds...

Yeah, for all the bad rep it got way back when it was introduced, Secured Mode is actually quite nice... you are guaranteed to keep at least one country even when the others fall.

hey all,,Everyone new and old has been spanked for whatever the reason may be,,Get on with it! Countries can be fixed up after no problem and 3 months is nothing in the larger sceme of things. andy...

andycl is right I was with him when we fought Danneh Turner! And after everything we did to him he spanked us right back. Oh well live and learn! You'll find Danneh an upstanding player, If you are going to quit the game then so be it but youll find that staying with it and rebuilding is much more satisfying.

Sam isn't the mean prick everyone says he is. He does speak more softly than he used to though. You never ever heard him speaking of using bats on people. Either he has become nicer or doesn't want to use mass destruction techniques any longer.
