Defense of my Territorial Integrity

Im not sure how this happened I did not vote for war I did not even know there was a vote for war. It was mistake if anything. Pat 103 was an inactive country that i took for assets.
I would prefer peace but will defend in war.

Jeff

King Woel - we did have many interesting discussions about commodity trading, evaluating how to make money on particular products, and so forth. Interacting with players who are curious about the game, play the game differently than I do, and have taken time to learn intricate details are what helps make the game fun for me.

Regarding me siding with Gaz - that's not what I'm doing here. I'm just saying what I see. I see that your federation initiated a vote to declare war on Gaz. Even if it was 1 vote to 0, a majority of the votes in your federation were to go ahead and declare the war. I'm not sure how that's Gaz's fault. Gaz did dismember our priests during our period of religious zealotry, which was infuriating. If I remember correctly though, King Woel, you proceeded to feed parts of my priests to your pets? I'm not sure that's a significantly better diplomatic approach.

Jeff/Rob - abstaining from the vote allowed whoever voted for it to push it through. Perhaps next time you will vote no if you do not wish for your federation to declare war.

Like I said I was not even aware of the vote just woke up and was surprised we were at War.
Also you need 50% of the members to approve the vote for War how is 1 vote 5o%
Jeff

50% of the votes. Not 50% of the members.

If there is 1 vote to go to war, and 0 votes NOT to go to war, then that means the majority of votes are for going to war.

That does not seem right to me and if thats the case it should be changed

I understand your confusion. You should change your federation settings in the interim.

I'll admit, I've never seen a federation vote to go to war like this before. I can't imagine a scenario where it's a good idea to force all nations in your federation to be at war at the exact same time. You guys have plenty of fighter countries, but like, that's maybe 6 countries ready for war? Why risk all your eco countries that have zero defense?

Vote on War
The Freedom Federation may vote on war against a joined enemy.

The voting period for a war declaration is 7 months. When you start the voting round now, the ballot ends November 04 4600. To accept the war declaration, 50% of the federation members must vote for this proposal.

Says 50% of federation members

Jeff, your federation declared war - we all can see that. I'm fairly sure I know which player initiated the vote.

The wording may be confusing, but I'm not sure what your explanation is here. Your federation declared war in masse, right? How did that happen if not by this mechanism?

Tonight the Megatron people celebrate a great victory in this tragic and unnecessary war. Our armies captured and secured Freedoms base to the south, a great threat to the region.

Negotiations failed when Rob failed to meet my terms for peace, the removal of his remaining c3'on VB was all I asked. A fair request I thought.

They promised peace and disbandment, rob said he would de-reg those countries no problem. Instead he's built up a large attack force. Jeff's country I took also had a large attack force. Clearly you guys had no intention of peace in the first place.

Why are nuclear strikes no longer broadcast on the world news page? It's nowhere near as fun landing a nuke when the whole world doesn't get to know it

Seriously though, wtf happened to it??? Same with the fed declaration vote didn't get broadcast either??? Is this a bug?

That's 2-0 to me Freedom, your move

Chad applaud the Great Megatron and his swift victories. The Vigor in your army is one of a kind leaving bodies of armies mangled equivalent to a BomB shell.

Well done Gaz, you have proven to be a great warrior.

Thank yous both. I'm offering peace to Freedom fed once again, despite them breaking our last peace agreement I think this time yous will be more agreeable? I've no wish to attack any further or anyone else for that matter. I just want to build my VB empire as best I can. What do yous say?

Peace. That would be nice.
Thank You Gaz.

I always hate when players lose their larger countries and assets. I know how that feels. I am glad, that wars are going on on FB and are livening up the place. We've been too complacent for too long!

King Woel, if I can help you rebuild in any way, please let me know. May my shoes comfort you, King Woel! If you need shoe corps, let me know. There must NEVER be any destruction of shoes anywhere on FB and other worlds!!!!

My shoe stockpile dropped to dangerously low, but other then that i just needed time to dismantle the empire and slither back into my little isolated continent
