The Forum
We have installed a new forum version. (No 3).
- Message length
The main problem that was resolved is the length of a message. It is now possible to post long messages
- Editing Messages
Editing was not functioning correctly. mainly when a message started with an empty line. It is now corrected.
Other Changes
- Added scrollbars
- There is now a tab showing last day messages
- There is another tab, showing last week messages
- Date and time added at the right side of the message screen
- The editing area is by default larger than before. It can be resized if a larger area is needed.
- There is a link at the top/right of all messages. Using it, will produce a link that can be used from anywhere,
to give direct access to the specific message. We will replace the word by an icon in a next release.
- We will also add the feature to add a picture to players accounts.
- The forum is and remains usable on a mobile device. It is read only if you do not login. it has full functionality if you login.
- You can use the light version and once chosen, it will become the default until you decide to choose another theme.
Click on the top left icon to see the available themes.
- Switching languages is easy and the entire forum will use the chosen language.
We are sure that there will be more comment and wishes.
Feel free to add your comments here. If no major errors will be discovered, we will wait some time for comments and create a new wish list
and create a new version.
As we said before, this new forum, and graphs (and in the future the maps and more screens), once installed are easer
to update and improve than in the current setup and version of our user interface.
