Both of these happen within hours of each other. Now, I know through INTEL that NLUO are detirmined to carry on and are hoping that a change in strategy would enable them to carry on unhindered.

Honestly STU are you offereng me compensation for the nuclear attacks on my country? I will Modestly entertain compensation for Drew. But keep in mind that there was an alternative presented. I Declared on Drew after two weeks of continuous nuke bombardment from josias. The war Decs expired, yet josias kept bombing. So I had to declare again and nuke him more.

Now I DID offer ANY and EVERY CIS member who didn't want to be bombed an offer of clemency, and a fed to join to declare themselves as non hostile. Now Drew fired back and even nuked me once or twice. I am unsure as to why he needs compensation. He declared himself a part of hostilities when he didn't comply with the offers of peace. Frankly, I am not into compensating enemies after wasting ammo. I would be more interested in compensating victims of fallout rather than the actual target of the disaster. To be honest, it looks like one of those things the game throws um every now and then. Thats 21 nuke attacks in one game day. 17 of them are for the same country. I think its a bug - a similar thing happenend to me with a repeating earthquake a while ago. LG explained it as the game catching up or something like that.

Why didnt you attack Josias inseted of declaring on Drew? He was the aggressor - not poor old Drew! Anyway, whatever. You said you will modestly entertain compensation for Drew so I look forward to recieving a message from you or him stating that this has happenend. I will then allow all decs against you to expire and will withdraw my forces.

Drew gets compensated and you agree not to attack and innocent presidents on LU again or we carry it on.

Drew is innocent and should never have been attacked. Especially that you were doing it in the name of NLUO at the time and you have since realised your mistake with that organisation. I'm not asking for compensation for myself or anyone else, hell - i'm even offering comp to people my nukes may have affected with fallout.

However, I do think it is resonable to ask that an innocent president who was attacked by yourself is compensated for his losses. I also think its resonable to ask that you don't attack any innocents on LU again simply because of your history here.

I do not think that I am asking for much here Wendy. I haven't even named a compensation level - that is for you and Drew to decide between yourselves.

As for the current debate above. I'm happy the player in question has been resolved. However, I would ask both of you to back away from the dec button for just a moment.

Lets be honest, when the two of you "talk" about going to war it is often a self fulfilling prophecy.

It appears for the time being that we might actually be moving towards a nice break from this endless war.
