I come to the MAIN forum for things that pertain to all worlds- general tips and such. NOT to hear about LU's pretend government in every other thread.

That is a lie. I regularly check the forums regarding the worlds that I inhabit so does everyone that posts on those forums.

It belongs in the general forum.

The intent behind King's organization, is to draw players in from LU and possibly other worlds to participate on Little Upsilon by posting events and developments in the general forum. He is well within his rights to do this.

What gives any of you the right to dictate what, where, and why someone can post where you approve?

If you are tired of it, stop clicking on the thread. If you're an adult and click it mistakenly, you hit the back button, and relieve yourself of the inconvenience.

If we start down this line, why is there not any admonishing done when players ask newbie questions on the general forum when there is a clear forum marked "Beginners" and another marked "Help"?

Neither of you are moderators Mizore and/or Caesari. Pretending to fill the role isn't necessary.

SweetPea, to some extent, you are right. But multiple threads about a plethora of different topics on the subject should be contained to the world forum, as it does not effect anyone who is not in LU.

One thread I think is fine; I actually like the idea of what he is doing. However, as I have already said, we have world forums for places like this. People can and do check their world forums, so having every thread about this government in the General is quite frankly irritating.

I suggest, Hezekiah, that you begin posting these things in your world forum, and keep a single thread in the general forum with a log of what is happening and updates so people not in your world that want to follow it may. And the rest of the forum goers don't have to wade through it.

Suggestions are for the weak. Blunt force trauma gets the point across with a bit more urgency.

Hezekiah, enjoy the forum as you please until a moderator says otherwise. Your posts are relevant and stimulating to the players who actually log on to enjoy the game.

Wendy is right, and I thank her for coming to my defense. Most people come to the general forum first This is why I posted it here. Hopefully sometime soon all nations of LU will come together in this gov to learn from each other how to play the game, and have international politics at the same time making relavant the federations, common markets, and security council as back in the days of CIS, and Valdeh, I can't remember the name of the fed, but it was very organized. But now we can move past the federations into making the feds be our security for the regions of LU. Thanks again wendy. much love.

I do think he has the right to post in the general(trying to bring players to LU).
But a new thread a week is unnecessary. Just bump the original and add an update to the end

Perhaps when any of us becomes a moderator our opinions will matter. These comments probably demonstrate why we haven't been selected to perform the duty. Until then Crafty, respectfully we can agree to disagree.

And on the topic of spam, none of these comments have anything to do with the thread topic. Complaining on the board in this thread is spam.

We have a Problems section for that, and anyone who really feels like King Hezekiah is doing anything wrong, you know how to contact the gamemaster.

I think King Hezekiah has some good ideas for the lack of politics in the game.

Why doesn't everyone just use this forum to discuss politics and virtual current affairs and just use this chat on Sim Country. That way there's much more social interaction in the game with maximum participation of players.

There's no need for lots of federations.

Why even bother with politics when feds/players are powerless to impose any decisions made. That's how I feel about it.

Lee I think Hezekiah is onto something about local feds.

For example if they were constructed along the regional line, shared fed defense will be much easier to implement, as well as direct ground support.

In contrast, the way feds are set up with members on opposite sides of the globe is kinda useless.

Perhaps an option to show political associations is needed as well as a federation designation.

That might be a neat idea. Actually scratch that. Even better would be to separate feds into 2 classes. Socio-Economic feds and military feds.

Socio-Economic Feds can span throughout the entire globe and have an even larger number of members. Military feds can only align within 2 regions outside the chairpersons main country. Thereby localizing feds and increasing the chance for shared defenses to overlap and support other members.

I'm not so sure that feds are powerless or unable to enforce or do anything. It appears to be more of a lack of will, cooperation, and proper organization.

It's not that I don't want to take part in the world politics. I'd quite enjoy it but there's little benefit being in a mulitplayer fed unless your all on the same war levels.

Even then there's a majority of players on the world outside your infulence. Be it on higher or lower levels.

So infact it's level politics in a way rather than world.

There's no fun for me roleplaying world politics when 80% or more of the world is free to do as they pls regardless.

Look I will cut down on the threads. But since I have made all those threads. Most people who play this game now knows if they didn't before that LU has a world government, and is going to become the best and most organized planet to live on in the Centaudos Galaxy.

First off, nothing that Hezzy has posted has bothered me one iota. Why not just delete ALL my nonsensical posts then? By y'all's definition, perhaps I shouldn't even contribute to the forums at all, because I don't have a real stake in the game.

If the GMs wish to move the thread to keep everything uniform, I'm sure they can, as I used to do in a forum that I once managed. But please, as hard as I've been working and others as well to get people to post and interact, don't discourage them by berating them in a disrespectful manner. I see Hezzy as being a serious player and posting on a game vision that he has.
