Andy,

"...with more war features coming into FB first, then everywhere."

Could we get any clarity on what these war features might be? Especially the ones on the non-war worlds. I don't want to be caught out, undefended, if a war change suddenly makes me vulnerable.

C3 fighting was always linked to war levels.
we intended it to reflect a level of knowledge of the war game.

This was always denied by players, saying C3 wars were not representative to any real fighting and did not require any knowledge.

so we made changes, and as it is now, c3 wars are not trivial.
In fact, not at all trivial and we might have overshot our objectives.
In the past several weeks we have reduced the complexity a bit and increased the rewards significantly.

But c3 wars are not real wars.
Maybe hard to win at high levels, but a c3 country does not attack (yet) as long as you do not attack it and a c3 country never wins.
This is a very significant difference from PvP wars, hence the chicken wars name.

As of now, you can win very large sums of game money and hundreds of gold coins when you win a c3 war and players, new players too, need to know how to fight to make a chance of winn

The real aim, as was discussed here recently, is to bring back PvP wars.

We have said, and already made many changes to make it possible, that PvP wars will become more likely on FB with new rewards attached.

To get an idea of how it could feel, we are now creating the war competition world where only PvP war wins will make you win awards.
c3 wars and other functions will remain possible but only PvP wars will increase your rank.
The war competition world will run for 2 or 3 months and stop.
there will be a reset and a new start.
Multiple competitions could run at the same time.

If you participate, you could win high cash awards but you could also be conquered. High risk but very limited as it is a small special world with resets and you could try again later, or immediately if not too close to the end of the competition period.

We get many requests, here and in messages, to bring back the game as it wa

But I don't get the determined emphasis to make war a huge incentive. War is supposed to be something to be avoided unless situations break down and diplomacy fails . War for the fun of it should be delegated to war worlds that exist in fake realities that don't impact a more realistic and comprehensive simulation that takes all aspects of global affairs in the game. When war begins, it should be viewed as a great failure of diplomcy, great suffering, ruined ecomomies, refugees, famine, all of the horrors that war brings. Just like in the real world. Wars just for the sake of wars is a fake premise . It's like trying to make an overly complex arcade game with maps and little icons. War should make us risk averse. And those looking to wage war for just wars sake should realize the consequences and experience the horror thereafter. Trying to force the game into a promotion of war trivializes other aspects of the game.
I hope my view poi

I have no interest in PVP.
I don't even play Fearless Blue.
I am a one world premium player.

You do not have to play war.
Many players want it.

we might start an economic competition world that will run for 3 months and reset.

we will start however, with a war competition world.

I'm concerned with the implications of the other four worlds, KB, WG, GR and LU. I think keeping a realistic balance, with conditions that make warfare come at a high price and disastrous. Long term consequences.

Khome,

Agreed. Simcountry's strength is in it's depth, realism, and accurate simulation. The enormous and horrific price of war, is part of that, to trivialise it, would be to trivialise the essence of the truth of Simcountry.

Exactly; the two war words would be perfect for war incentives, a place to practice our warring skills outside of the normal worlds. Kind of like a proving ground or "war games" simulation. Insular, and dedicated to the one, or two, planets. I think it would be perfect, a great opportunity for us to practice, and for the war competition some crave.
