I'm so happy you are taking steps to work on your health. I KNOW it is very, very challenging and can be quite discouraging at times. You take things one day at a time. You start small, and you build up.
I'm 54-years-old. I commonly tell people, I started feeling old at age 45 with my first heart attack. lol As of last Christmas, I have had a total of 4. Bad life habits are very hard to break. For me, smoking has been my biggest challenge, even after having to have had my chest cracked open and a triple bypass surgery 7 years ago. I persevered, and finally broke the habit.
Eating healthy and staying in motion is important for longevity in life. Now, a lot is genetic.
