LG, aside from all the cynical comments and content, and the nature of it being reccomended for viewing, I'd have to sadly agree that there is truth in the statement at face value. People can obviously twist it or put into context to make the statement inherently good or bad. But it seems that it is a reality we wouldn't very much like to face. Truth hurts. I am extremely spiritual, but I am increasingly growing suspisious of religious denominations which have surely proven to only cause division, and this is at the heart of this statement.

I am not endorsing any video or LH's POV, but am responding to LGs surprise at the gentleman's applause.

If you want to chalk it up to "religion" then we are 100% correct that religion has wrought much evil upon the world, heck Satanism is a religion.

Not all religions are the same though. As a matter of fact if one of them is right(true) then ALL the rest are wrong(false) because they don't agree with each other and in some cases directly oppose each other.

So what is that? ONE good and ALL THE REST evil, at best. (apart from which one of them happens to be the truth)

It is possible for them all to be wrong but not all to be right.

I'm not surprised to see such a statement applauded. There are and always will be many people opposed to religion, organized and otherwise. However, it doesn't hold up to much scrutiny. It's a sweeping, extraordinary claim, with little to back it up.

Solomon Grundy, interesting leaps of logic. If two religions were to agree with each other on all matters but one in which they directly opposed one another, you're saying at least one of them is "wrong," then quickly it becomes "false," then in the next line "evil".

Would you call that view--that at best all religions but one are evil--a religious view, or a secular view?
