SC lacking activity ever since war levels implemented

The activity and interaction ex: wars, roleplay, etc can be implemented using other sources, like blogs, federation forums or the abandoned wikia :P

the forum and the site himself needs some update and a better contact between members, federations and better interface to make a better community the private messages is not enough, its very cold and "meh"

Space being all GC based means it will never be a real important aspect of the game. The limitation on size of empires (no. of countries) really puts a cap on playing peacefully and the war game is just to damn involved for me with far too much to lose with far too much maintenance cost. I do like being able to play when I want without being subject to the whims of someone else. I do wish there were more opportunity to manipulate things within a country like the idea of rail freight fees and passenger traffic. There are a ton of possibilities for economic challenges within empires. the GM devote little attention to that possibility. there are all sorts of possibilities in running a country and an empire. I think the stock market is a mess. Just my opinion. So I shall just dawdle along fiddling with this game.

Regarding Switzerland, I'm not disputing the history or the importance of neutrality... the terrain was certainly a factor in Hitler's decisions, as was their willingness to do business.

But, when it comes to "international law", this really does need to be put in quotation marks. International law is a very shaky thing with lack of enforcement mechanism. Nations still act in their own interests and seldom act without some national objective firmly in mind. Altruism does happen, but frequently only for political reasons. So, not really much at all.

Not to go all realist, but this is the simple situation we do find ourselves in.

I guess I need to comment as I was referred to many times in this thread. I'm not bulling anyone this is the game. Trash talk is not bulling its the game. I can tell anyone anything that I want. No one has to agree or do what I say. Its your keyboard. Some people play games of manipulation and when found out hate it and quit. That is understandable but even that is part of the game and after someone deletes themselves and still finds that they have a Forum to speak that's ok too But I as anyone else in the game has the right to say what I want except. Post Offensive materials to the site or the chose offensive names for countries, enterprises, cities or any other objects as well as all materials that are offensive to any race, gender or religion and any hate language or any Nazi names or pictures, racist and fascist texts and materials. Alterd...stop bullying me!

I will say this though: Switzerland, the big bully Alterd is right. International law is...lacking enforcement mechanisms. It's a bit like a child telling people they can't walk on the sidewalk cracks. It's only a rule if you listen to the rule. And, in the world we live in, the international agreement is usually only followed when there is a direct benefit to the state to do so.

It amuses me when people think they can be a bully to the little guy, so I guess in the game like I do in real life the bully will just have to be given a good pasting to keep them inline.
