The Aries Investment Club

I am considering starting an exclusive group and want to throw the idea around and check for interest. The way the Aries Investment Club would work is that I will send you specific corporations to invest in and a certain amount of required investment. The benefits of membership is that you can see a substantial return in the form of a stable dividend payment. To participate you must have an enterprise located on a world with current investment opportunities.

Again, in short, benefits are:

-I send you the corporations to invest in, and will ensure your share buy completes promptly without hassle. Investment amounts will typically be in the 15-20% range.

-The return in the form of dividends should consistently offer a stable income each game month. My calculations are that, on average, you will likely earn $750 million/game month for each $1 trillion invested. This is far better than a return you would receive by giving loans, whic

I think to help your efforts a relaxing of maximum number of corps you can hold shares in should be considered. These limits do not occur in the real investment world and I don't think they are very useful in the simulated investment world. Especially where CEOs involved.

You may well be right Psycho Honey. I am up to my eyeballs in share limits across my enterprises, countries, and investment funds on LU. I have lived with them though and do the best I can within the game limits.

These are the current limits for those who are interested:

Enterprises: 500 corps
Countries: 300 corps
Investment Funds: 350 corps

It is possible to somewhat exceed those numbers as the check occurs at the beginning of each game month. If a country exceeds the limit, it is not able to IPO its state corps.

You hit on the reason bringing others to invest can be useful for me. Investors can definitely benefit from the stable returns I can offer and the investors themselves will contribute to the stable environment I like to maintain with the economy in my empire. I am looking to create even more public corporations in my empire and cannot possibly control all the shares and benefit from truly public corpora

I can use my IF in my main LU country. I need to build up my cash in them however. I have 0 tax and I have never really utilized them in the past so I will have to brush up on how to expand my investment power quickly. I don't see any harm in buying some shares. I would use my enterprises but the limits on shares doesn't give me much room to maneuver around my own designs. Just let me know when you want to start.

An update. I hope to have as much investment available as any of my club members wish to invest. If you haven't messaged me with your target investments yet, let me know. I am currently setting up CC6 for a new round of IPOs. It is not wise to invest in corps in that country right now, as shares will be overpriced. Soon, the new batch of public corporations there will help make available a lot of new investment opportunities.
