Aussy mate. I have been, many times, on the receiving end of someone who has nothing better to do, or enjoys nothing more, than to inflict all out devastation through what ever means.
I doubt in real life Jan would walk away.
But as this is only a game, and games are not worth getting stressed about, the best thing to do is always walk away (I think there would have been 11 deadly sins if games were around then). Deadly sin number 11 would be.......never take a game personal. And if it becomes personal walk away because there are better things to be doing with your life.

i got to add this, wendy was the whole start of WL's. look in the history. wasnt't she great... there is piles of stuff that corupt her and condem her for praying on the weak. It actualy DID, not even kidding, end up to the GM ultimate disision to include war levels.

And yes nix... over the years of playing the game it has become a social networking site for those involved and those long gone, and somtimes became a personal matter for all to see, which was totaly wrong and no different then a social networking site. All we need now is a "like" button

i was their 2, for the WL fight, and it wasn't about Wendy, it was about a group of the best war players in the game, getting together to attack a group that wanted to the dominate, based entirely on building up, and never actually doing anything. they were created so that those that aren't interested in fighting, don't have to. and those that are inexperienced, don't have to fight those that are.

it was a combination of ideas that where put together to create WLs, WB suggested a staggered difficulty level for C3s, so that you could stair-step up your war experience, with out risking a real war. that was combined with, it was either BC or CC, BC i think, that suggested actual WLs to segregate experience levels. The 2 where put together, with the GM concept that if you felt safe enough to survive a war, you'd be more likely to start one, to get what we have. it was the same discussion that Barney Rubble introduced the idea that would eventually become "auto-response," units, stealth bombers, and mobile conventional missile units. It took a couple years before we actually got them, but thats where the idea was first introduced.

Ok I'm gonna get out of this conversation with the words a game is a game and should never become personal for then the game becomes reality and no longer a game. It is too easy for computer games to become personal because you can't see the reaction and pain of someone from what you yourself might think is just a war of words with tongue in cheek, but which you would see affected them if you could see them. All text is is words. But unfortunately words are only a fraction of what is needed for someone to truly understand the intentions of the words. To

Many people, even some of my allies, thought is was a good idea. It had some serious support. how ever, the leadership became totalitarian, and forced themselves on LU. And as time went by, they lost their support, so that only the leadership was left.

It was Wendy's own insistence that the NLUO dominate LU, that drove it to extinction. Had a gentler approach been taken, it would probably still exist. How ever, her assertion, rose to a fanatical level. a "fight until i win, even if it takes years." was more of a commitment than any one else was willing to make, except maybe lord lee. it took a while, but even he has given up on it.

meaning, in regards to Wendy, and the NLUO, she will literally be fighting off players, until they quit, to have her way. and players that have been around a long time, before the event. no one, but her, is really willing to take
