Virtual Asset System

Anyone have an idea when the ETA on the Virtual Asset System being reactivated? By the way, what was this "misuse" that is being touted as the reason for shutting it down?

I doubt you'll see it come back. I wouldn't hold my breath anyway.

If they really want to see fun games that makes the owners money hand over fist and yet gives the players the option of playing for free they should look at what the Russians are doing.

Simcountry has been around a lot longer and yet I've never seen them on the History Channel

I cant really see that SC runs as a stand alone money maker. I would seriously doubt it would pay for even one engineers full time wages, say $2000 a month. It must just be one of W3Cs many projects. They probably really are learning alot about gaming from it.

I miss the virtual assets system. Just the other day a fedmate fallen on hard times since the game-changes needed aid, but we are forbidden by gamemaster to give direct financial aid. It was easier when one could just set up a package and give key...

Id also imagine that W3C make more money from selling GCs now. It is always nice being able to ban the competition ;)

If W3C want to eliminate scamming while making $$, introduce a market using paypal. People list the offers, buyer accepts a listed offer and trade is completed thru paypal. W3C could take a cut from all sales.
