Virtual Assets Disabled

The Virtual Assets System is disabled for a short period due to misuse.
The system will be reactivated as soon as possible.

I went to the page for vertual assets and this is what i saw. ^^

Is this in general for everybody or just me, I have not misused the assets transfer not once. And i do need this activated as soon as possible. I have been using asset transfer for some quick gold coins that i buy from people at a higher rate. Without this activated i have no way to buy gold coins becuase the current system for buying gold coins takes forever until its your turn.

GM please turn this feature back on as soon as possible please, it is crititcal to my country it is the main source for me to buy gold coins.

If this is for everybody than please clarify why it was turned off and why not just the ones who did the misuse.

If it was just me please let me know what i did. I have not

How can you misuse Virtual Assets????

Many ways, off the top of my head someone could create multiple accounts and send themselves all the gold coin awards and game money that they receive but that would be ridiculous. Andy I use asset transfers for instant gold coin purchases please bring this feature back and ban those who where misusing it.

We will try to solve the problem ASAP.
It will however need some software development and comes at a time we are trying to complete some war features and improve the war game.

we have seen frequent problems for some time and it is hard to intercept them.

As I said, we will try to solve the problem ASAP.

How are you sure that this isn't the "misuse" and you won't be banned by your request?

well, wasn't the feature originally intended to allow us to buy/sell countries and such with real cash? or do i have this one wrong?

Why is it bad to by gold coins from other players using in game cash, i buy gold coins at 1T for 10 gold coins. Is this the misuse you where talking about andy or is it something else. I see no wrong in buying gold coins from other players at a higher rate when the market for gold coins takes eons to get just one gold coin, the waiting is what i do not like, with the instant transfer i do no waiting and buy from other players. Andy please let me know if this is the misuse you where talking about or is this fine to do.

The GMs have already advocated using virtual asset packages if you're not happy with the restricted market price available through direct trading, so I doubt that's the problem PK.

Maybe its the people bypassing the GM set minimum price for countries, by refunding a large proportion of the country cost?

There are a couple of GM imposed prices that could be bypassed this way, that would be my guess.

No. I'm thinking multiplayers.

I have a pending GC transaction with one player, which cannot be completed because of this. A little warning would have been nice. I already paid him, and he can't send me a key. I guess me and my (real) money are just SOL until sometime, after developing war updates and then releasing them sometime, and after they get around to developing some programming sometime, and fixing the "problem" sometime.
Just as speculation, and for entertainment purposes only, if I was trying to further monopolize the GC trade, this is something that would work well...

and Phoenix, as to why only the offending players were not banned, remember that, in the words of the great Tom T. Hall, "if you hang them all, you get the guilty; if you hang them all, you cannot miss".

I would like to hear of a time table for this to get fixed. i did some massive spending, thinking my deal was going to go thru,and the player did come thru, and now my assets are frozen by a seemingly hostile entity. The game has made plenty of money off of me, and I think an explanation or redress of grievances is deserved.

I know that it is possible for the GMs to go into the programming on an individual basis and "adjust" things like supply, etc., as per the supply fairy. My request to the GM is to enable my keys on a one-time basis so I can get my lawful property out of escrow. The assets made it into your system, then you shut it down. As the largest and richest empire on KB, and as a player who has contributed significant amounts of real money to your game, I request that my assets be made available. I am not going to go away.

There are always a few bad apples who abuse the game, cheat, and ruin things for others.But never fear,Spiderman is here!!! To fight evil!!

Any transaction that got caught in limbo like that should be honoured Andy. Excepting maybe the one that caused you to cut off this feature in the first place.

Andy will there be any clarification of what cuased the shuting down of asset transfer. It is important for me to get gold coins this way as the current gold coin market is really slow.

@ Crafty: I think Andy will do the right thing, eventually, if in fact, Andy is the same person we have been having help us in the past, and not some new owner who kept the name as camoflage. There seems to be some question about this. Even if it is a new owner/GM, I think they should not underestimate the negative effect this will have on all players, if they can't ever trust the game system and if they know that they may at any moment be robbed.

We did not get any mail from anyone who was caught in the middle of a transaction.
please mail the gamemaster if you have such a problem.

I have posted this problem and mentioned it several times in posts on this forum. I didn't realize I was not going thru proper channels. I know you know about this problem, because I have seen your replies to my posts in which I referenced this problem, although your replies did not ever address the issue of my assets in limbo. However, I am sending a message to Gamemaster officially, right now.Thanks for finally letting me know which hoops I have to jump thru to get this resolved. Thanks! I'd have done it sooner if I'd realized.

So any eta on the availability of asset transfers.
