im sorry hez but im out, i can not participate in this anymore, just to many things stacking against you for me to feel comfortable in proceeding with this government. i will not mention them here but you and i have talked about them. Orbiter's opinion is very important to me and this is coming to a head. Mizore is the first one in this game to ever help me out and sought me out to join his fed when i was as noob as noob can get. The time has come to choose sides and im with Orbiter and mizore on this one. i will not advise you on how to proceed from here, you seem to know exactly what your doing but i will say you have to admit that you being the newer player on LU and causing such an abrassive campaign has not helped the NLUO.

point is Hezekiah, if you begin to allow players OUTSIDE the government begin to dictate to the government or its' participants how the government acts or runs, then there is no government. For it is their government, by proxy, forced by military threat.

This can not be an acceptable outcome.

If these fools want to dictate what should or should not be done, then it would be possible through their participation in it, not by their external efforts in planning its demise.

It was very interesting the discussions today in chat regarding the NLUO issue. I am an observer, therefore, I can write without bias my opinions on this matter.

Every player plays their game and should have the right to play their game the way they see fit. This applies to Hezzy and his organization and also to players like Orbiter and Crafty, who have posted against this proposal.

I applaud Hezzy and his group for having a vision and creating their game and community. However, I find issue with statements that "all of LU is governed by the NLUO". This is a wrongful statement. Those presidents who do not wish to participate in NLUO should not be governed by NLUO.

Hezzy states that noone is being pressured to join. Well, okay, but why in the next breath say the NLUO governs all of LU? I have yet to understand this. To me, what the NLUO governs is/are those empires that JOIN the NLUO. Statements to presidents who

It has just come to my attention that Steve Ryan on LU and a member of the NLUO has issued a war declaration against some of those who have opposed the NLUO. So from what Hezzy told me today, before war decs can be issued, it has to be agreed upon by the NLUO. Therefore, this war declaration must be endorsed by the NLUO.

If this is the case, the message that it sends to me is a very poor one and really doesn't put the NLUO in a favorable light. It comes across as a bully/aggressive tactic, one that I do NOT agree with and will heavily campaign against. Sorry Hezzy, I love you to pieces, but I dun condone this action.

Kiss I am sorry but Once I declared war, and alerted the federations, I knew it would be hard to stop them. I was not playing. I was going to war. It is only because of Chief Jackseptic did I even agree to any kind of peace. Chief Jack then resigned his position as Secretary of State to only oversee the regions of his empire and represent those regions. He does not want to go against Orbiter. With that said. I tried to stop the feds, but once a declaration goes through, we have a lot of war happy nations in our government federations. The war Ensemble Fed, parts of the LU Defense Organization, No Quarter Fed, and the NLUO fed all were called up for war. I did what I could. I stayed in war level 1 instead of leveling up. I did my part to stop the bloodshed. Maybe Orbiter should have not threatened war in chat last night, and buying nukes.

Perhaps it would have been in NLUO's best interest to wait on the dec. By you issuing the first war dec, it comes across aggressive and bullying. It is all perceptions, Hezzy. So what if Orbiter or 20 people issued a verbal threat, doesn't mean anything until it is actually issued.

Besides, what infraction has occured against the NLUO? That people just dun wanna join? That people are angry against your implications that you govern all of LU? Their disgruntlement is justified. Should I expect a war dec from Steve Ryan if I were there because of my posts here? or because I've been saying Die HEROD Die!? You get my point? :P

This is how this is coming across and in my opinion makes your group look bad.....a join us or die mentality. If I were on LU, I would be standing against you. Nothing personal, I just don't agree with this action.

I came back to the game because I liked the sound of this. I dont give a rats tail about the rest of the game at the moment, and Hezzy, this is out of control.

Mizore, Crafty, Orbiter- not that you care, but this NLUO member will not raise a hand against you. I just ask that you allow another week or so to pass so the NLUO can elect new representation, who knows it is foolhardy to try and force the government on anyone.

Well I am confused, Carthaginian0. I thought the NLUO's decision to declare war was agreed upon by the entire NLUO? If that is the case, were you not part of that vote?

To elect new representation would be to go outside your group, because according to my understanding, what the NLUO decides is a decision by all of you.

There was an "Executive Order"- aka Hezzy's decision. I am sick and tired of EOs- we have not passed one real resolution.

Hezzy: I am loyal to the NLUO, not to you. I joined not for this crap. So heed this warning:

Get your $#!+ together or the lot of us will impeach you. I don't care when elections are or whether or not you feel this is extreme. There is enough disgruntlement in the ranks I see us breezing through the impeachment process.

If you are going to be a representative of the people, then represent the people.
