Suggestion to the war game (Fearless Blue)

Its not about changing the War levels so dont panic.

Rather to fix a current issue. The GM should look into fixing War protection. Maybe so its an all empire or no nation fix. I vote 1GC per Day per nation. Make alot of issues simpler.
And i would like to suggest that in order to dec a nation must be atleast 30M population. This means players must invest something before attacking anyone. And atleast they get a pop with pop/worker trades. Figured it something to increase the risk

I like the 30M population minimum a lot. It will at the very least, slow down C3 warfare. It would require at least some investment on the attackers part.

Making the war protection "all or nothing" sounds interesting as well. This also would discourage C3 warfare. This is pretty extreme, but worth talking about.

I think these are both good suggestions. If we tweak in changes such as these, maybe the war levels can be relaxed some. To borrow from Crafty, these changes would be more of a tack hammer as opposed to a sledge hammer being taken to the nut we call the war engine.

I fully agree with you super, this will make attacking someone worth the hastle. I would like to see this implemented asap.

Perhaps all countries should have a support value. That is a country can support a certain sized military based on it's population size. This would not eliminate c3 warfare but would reduce the bite a c3 can inflict on a neighbor.

Give human controlled c3's an extremely low attack support value.

You all got it on FB why the incessant whining of changes? Not satisfied your raiding hunger? Where will it end. What shall we do after that?

I like the "30M or greater pop to declare on a president" rule. It would eliminate frivolous and harassing decs. It would tend to reduce the degree to which players can gang up on a single victim. Players would have to put up something of real value in order to play the war game.

It would definitely change the way wars are (were) fought, for the better imo. You'd still want to take c3s for air support and other strategic purposes, but wars would basically be between big countries, which is always more fun.

Human controlled c3s already have an extremely low attack support power. Their small economies and lower population that can contribute to the armed forces give you exactly what you ask for Maestro.

could we use the right forum? hate to be a stickler but it might get some trafic though the suggestions forum, i have a couple of purposels in there one is regarded as crap but i think m recent one is a realy good idea has to do with the finance index for new players
