I was so impressed by Nix's conservative measures:

You know, we Americans waste so much it isn't funny. I am even guilty of some things. So often I buy food, and it is never eaten. To think there are countries where people are starving. As I've gotten older, I have become more mindful of things. We could all do well like Nix.

of course extremes on any side and for any argument are unappealing. And of course the "elites" don't give a crap and use all the resources and energy they want, they are used to lifestyles that is beyond that of the common man, that doesn't imply a conspiracy. I agree with Nix to a certain extent, that we need to change our way of life completely, that doesn't mean starving yourself and wearing rags in the dark, but doing some of the things he mentioned. reducing meat consumption (its heavily processed and full of antibiotics anyways so no use arguing its vital for our health), recycling, not buying fast fashion etc. it really bothers me that in America at least, virtually ALL conservatives deny climate change or under estimate its effects just because the left talks about it (not arguing they do something 100% of the time either). I think Nix, even though he is one man, is making a difference not only by living the way he does, but by influencing others to change or at the ver least think. change happens one person at a time.

If people want to make changes to their lifestyles they are free to do that. I am against government coercion to force changes. Things like carbon tax, banning products, banning technology, etc... The government has enough control and power over our lives. They don't need more. I just fundamentally disagree with you as to what the solution is to the problem of climate change, if it is even man made. If fossil fuels truly are the problem, and the only solution is to completely eliminate their use, well then there are only 2 possible ways to achieve that. We either ban fossil fuels completely and go back to the Stone Age, or we allow the free market to work and thrive and develop the next form of energy that is not only clean, but more importantly competitive in the market place. We are not there yet. We will be there one day. I just don't believe that taxing things and banning things will get us to that goal. I believe it will make that goal more di

You are correct to a certain degree. What I am referring to is not party control, but controlling people. There are even some republicans who are under the one-world order movement and big government. I don't support this ideology and think it will lead to disaster. People will lose their rights to everything. Why do you think there is so much opposition to gun control? Once the government takes your guns away, you have no way to protect yourself against them even...….another means to be reliant on the government to take care of you. Nah, I prefer to keep my gun and protect my family and my property as first line of defense...then the government police can assist! ;-D

sorry been busy. but yea, i agree with the wicked, both sides of the isle has got control freaks. just tend to lean more toward the right now days, and I love what Trump is doing for the country, and if nothing else you have to atleast like the fact that he is upsetting the status quote.
