Targon Exploit

Andy, when you create Targon Defensive Battery Corporations, the corporation starts with a 5 month supply of Targon. This Targon is essentially spawned into the game from nothing. A sufficiently motivated player could use this exploit on many nations/CEOs to harvest Targon from newly made corporations. I doubt this is working as intended.

Such an exploit would work on other rare materials, such as Wind Farms being spawned by the creation of Asset Maintenance Corps.

I think it's a nice loophole to look into and potentially fix, but let's be honest, you would have to be very motivated and you would pay a lot of money for that targon.


TMB uses 300t/m
TM uses 74t/m

It takes +-10 months to produce a TMB so you would need to create 2 corps, maybe 3 to have enough targon to create 1 battery.

The cost of creating a corporation used to be 200B+production plant.

For wind farm, I don't think they can be supplied or bought via the "trade with corporation" same for military bases and defensive forts etc.(country assets)

If you want targon, a single targon Corp on TA will produce around 400 targon/month.

What about instead of bldg it to get targon, you are just spending gold coins to switch the same production plant back and forth between targon and something else, keeping the targon, and selling the other supplies you get for free.

Good observation, but you would probably be better off direct trading the gold coins for electric power. iirc the rough exchange rate is $500B/gold coin. If you think you can get more than $500B in resources, then congrats on finding a good loophole.

I the concern was not about game money, so much as getting targon w/o going to TA. Thanks chiming in, you answered another question I had.

If you're going to pay 2 gold coin per targon battery, fetch another 28 and build a run down country for targon. I've seen countries with more than 1 vein

New corporations and corporations that have changed their output products now need first to order supplies.

there is no initial donation of supplies.
It also resolved a wider problem of creating products out of thin air and adding them to the game.
