Game Months On Top Screen Bar

I just started playing Sim Country Thursday -- 3 days ago.

I chose to play as President of a Country.

After I log in, it looks as if the only way I can see what is happening in my country is by clicking on the map at the top left of the main page -- "My Countries."

When I do so, the game month has remained at October 3276.

Does that mean that is when I became President of my country, or is that the current game month?

because I read in some Wiki FAQs that for every 24-hour human day, the game advances about 4 game months.

if that is so, then why is my game stuck at October 3276 since I started? Do I need to adjust some setting? Or go to a different screen?

Or, should I contact the game administrator, and let them know this is some sort of bug or problem?

I had a message from you this morning and already answered it. At the time, I did not know you referred to the date at the top right.

This is the date you became president.
it does not change.
it is indeed not so clear.

The real date shows on the top left, just under the communication menu. It shows the world name and the date.
