When GCs first come into the game (I think about 4 yrs ago) the rate was about 1.6T per 1 GC.

Of course, though, people's profits and spending are much less. Military spending is also much less. Wehn they first come out, Cyriac had 3kT in cash. Then they brought financial services in to push us into reducing the large reserves vets had built up.

I make 600B a month from my main where as that could have been 3T in the past. The figures have changed dramatically over time.

I'd only be concerned if I needed to buy lots of game money.

Woot! David, remember having to get a mate to sell you GC so you could lower your cash and then sell those coins right back from another world/country, so you could move $ around to avoid financial services and between worlds?

yes the amount of SC$ you get for a gold coin has been decreasing for quite some time but over that time value of SC$ has been going up, you can buy a lot more for 1T$ now then you could before so the change is no where near as big as it seams. (personally I find this kind of odd because normally there is inflation and the value of $ goes down over time so its strange to to say hay $100 can buy you a lot more then it used to lol)

I'm more interested in the gold coin to US Dollar exchange rate, has that changed much over time or is that consistently steady?

what are you on about, its 150/153 spread right now not 146/157, also there is Andy and there is Tommi, is this game really only run by 2 people or are there more people behind the scenes?

He mean's what the GM's are valuing GC's at, not what the best deal currently is.

The GM's have a value set for GC? Whats the point in that supply and demand decide the price through the direct trading system.

OH! now I see it, andy has put large offers at 146/157 to keep it within that range, oh well that's a little disappointing I thought that the system was genuinely based on supply and demand Andy why are you devaluing GC? And why are you regulating the GC SC$ exchange rate, surely it would be best if it were a completely floated currency based solely on market forces? :P

Not too many real players can put 4,000 coin on the ask or bid on a consistent basis. Only the GM can do this.

The GM sets the trading range and players trade around the number.

Yes, Crafty, finacnical management was a lot more managed than than these days. I still find it amazing (althoigh I have only be replaying for 2 months) that we can just move game money in a couple of clicks.

I say it will stop at 100. seems like its a good number. one gold coin is 100B 100 gold coins is 10T.
