I'm guessing this is new and no one produces it yet?

Metadium, as well as targon and baradium, is produced only in Tiny Atlas. It can be exported and sold on the market of other worlds.

It's one of the minerals you need to make electric car motors which, are necessary for electric cars.

Specifically, it's Simcountry's attempt to make an unfinished world more attractive.

There was no change in the past months until TODAY.

Please read the info in General messages.

Baradium, Metadium and Targon will be used more, and in more products.

Tiny Atlas is different from the other worlds. A bit more complicated to run countries but potentially extremely profitable.

It is fully functional but different.
I do not know what you mean by unfinished.

There is no general market, by intention, as it is impossible to have such a market with only several hundred countries.

You are a very experienced player. We are open to suggestions.

I am talking to Yankee but we are open to suggestions from all players.

I an still on TA, it isn't easy but it does use a lot of my transport capacity.

I like it.

TA isn't feasible for the average player based on what I am hearing & seeing.
To make it a requirement to get certain minerals is asinine.

This is a copy of what I just placed on the Tiny Atlas discussion:

All the materials that come from TA are now freely traded on all worlds.
You do not need to directly purchase from others.

Those who do go to TA have easier acess to the materials and TA is now much easier to play.
we intend to op the market on TA which is now a major limitation.
it will take some weeks before we get to it but it will happen.

It will make TA even much easier.

but there is no need to go there.
We think that some more players will and they will get these materials from TA to the other worlds as it already happens now and sell them on the markets.
They will do so because there is a major economic potential.

check the markets now.
Metadium, Baradium and Targon are freely traded.

This comes on top of several major, recent changes in Tiny Atlas:

- The transport of products is easier and much fa

I have strong feelings on this requiring TA materials for basic wide-use products, but that's another discussion. I'd like to report that I am attempting to relieve main world shortages of the TA materials (Baradium, Metadium, and Targon), and the Targon sales are the only ones that are going through. Placing Baradium or Metadium on the market consumes the available selling cap for the month, but the products then do not actually sell. And yes, they're in shortage. This was tested with Enterprises on both WG and LU.

Looking at the sale logs for my enterprise Rain in KB, I can see the sale order for Metadium has been processed, but it appears the one for Baradium was not. It was just deleted from the order book. I have placed a new one now to track it later.

Product Amount in Units Offered Price Date Offered
Baradium 71000 grams best price January 09 5800

Almost certainly selling limit. You'll want to sell the 3 products from 3 different countries if your moving alot of it.

When a country (or enterprise) has multiple sell offers available to it, the one's it has buying power for will process. Once the buy limit is reached, any other orders that are accepted simply disappear never to be seen again and must be re-offered.

Andy will likely need to do something because there are few people selling, and the selling limit will prevent them from meeting demand even if they have the supply.

Spending space does seem to be it in more testing. The system will allow up to so much market value to be sold but then quietly cancels some sales if it isn't all from one product when its time to sell. Haven't deep researched the exact limits versus what's allowed to be placed up yet, but this is enough that I'd like to make a request to Andy to fix that. If the system allows products to be placed for sale, they should be sold and not quietly taken down from sale later. You already have the guardrails in place to prevent market manipulation by only allowing a certain total value of products to be placed each month, there shouldn't be a secret lower limit within that.

I believe it is safe to remove the selling limit.

I remember what was happening at the time, but I do not see how crashing any one number market poses a threat to the game.

If anything, those clamoring the GM must do something about it should receive a swift quick to the nuts for their dramatic overreaction.

I think that the market will stabilize.
after opening it, there was some rush to trade.

I will also look at the sales limits with the intention of increasing the numbers.

My big takeaway/problem with the current trade behavior is simply that:

1. There is a limit to total market value of manual sales offers you can make per month.

Then:

2. The actual limit appears to be lower than what you are allowed to place for sale, so the game silently cancels sales above that hidden limit, particularly when multiple products are placed for sale in the same month - removing all sales of some products until under that hidden value limit.

The manual sales limit was increased from 4T to 7T this morning.
Please read the game news.

I think that the limit is exactly what you can offer.

I do not want to remove the limit all together and wait for the next person who tries to break the markets.

players sometimes have huge quantities of some products and if there is no limitation at all, some will eventually do it.

We are testing the quantities and may decide to increase the limit again.
