you guys @wc3 should consider writing/creating your very own app/or script kinda chat that's stable that you guys can keep control of, instead of ole has been jwchat besides the damn thing don't wanna work within windows 10

We are discussing the best way to solve the chat problems once and for all.
jwchat is indeed outdated and doesn't, in its current state, work on edge (the new windows 10 browser) at all.

It wouldn't be as simple as replacing jwchat with any modern chat client as we require one that allows us to integrate it into the account management back-end, preferably without having to gut it like a fish.

I'll clarify once we have decided on a course of action.

agree 100% with your views!, although you could see if it was ever possible ever at all to integrate our chat that we have on our website that you could consider using it ever within simcountry? or something like it

Thinking maybe you can find a way to utilize a fb stylized chat, something compatible with pidgin so the phone users can actually participate. Would be nice if doable, dunno if xmpp would integrate

Sound on chat would be lovely...

A ping everytime someone sends a message with the option of turning off sound would be lovely...

I can't even get into the new chat because it won't recognize my password. An option to register a new password for the chat would be nice.
