Upgrading the Simcountry user interface

The Simcountry user interface is undergoing some changes, aimed at easier use and the eliminations of feature duplication.
The share market related commands and menu options appeared both on the left pane and on the top of the page menu.
The top of the page menu option is now eliminated and the share market related features are only on the left pane on the country home page.

We have reorganized these features in tabs and simplified the interface.
The investment funds tab shows an error. It will be fixed ASAP.

More such changes are being prepared.

Weapon Ranges

As discussed and promised before, we have reduced the range of some very long range weapons, including some defensive weapons.
The reductions are applied to defensive missiles and helicopters but also to several offensive weapons and strategic weapons.
The details are in the weapons document.

Investment share page doesn't work

The new "Corporations that use X" screen shows 0 for decimal usages...

Investment share page doesn't work in countries, I didn't check yet in my CEO.

Only 13000 range increase….

That’s why I recommend the 15000 which is right in the middle

The investment funds tab does not work, it will be fixed.

On ranges, we had several recommendations and this is what we have chosen for now.

The increase in range has not take affect on WG

All systems for buying and selling shares are already working.

I just checked with my CEO and my country.

Thanks for alerting me.
You might be right.
There is a possibility that the weapons range items were not properly included in the upgrade.

Not 100% sure so I will do it again.

Possibly, some of the range updates escaped the upgrade on April 12.
We have repeated the procedure.

Corporations

More increases in corporations to increase the number of employees, increase the production capabilities and increase the profit potential of many corporations.

The changes are not large and do not include all corporations. Only a limited group of corporations are updated in each round.

The total effect on employment is however quite large, involving hundreds of thousands workers and these changes are accumulating.

Reducing extreme shortages

Several products are showing very severe shortages that are increasing significantly over time and reach levels that cannot be corrected easily.

Ok I tried the transport range thing again and it is still not allowing me to go pass the 10.000

On WG in May 4687 there was a jump in the need for executives. Not sure what happened, I didn't open any new companies. My two countries needed about 4,000 and 13,000 more executives overnight. Is this part of the updated employment? I thought it was posted here that it wouldn't be extreme.

I've noticed similar changes.

TM, The updates are never extreme (lol). I hadn't gotten back to 100% employment from the last one. I try to keep 96% employment with 100% hiring. I've started closing corps and IPOing to my CEO and moving corps out of country. Gonna take a lot of clicks to straighten this out, but it can be done.

I can't be bothered to move and IPO over 100 corps so I'm going to leave it and then if it wrecks my economy I'll blame Andy.

These constantly moving goalposts have ruined the game for me. I haven't made any progress for real months because I'm constantly running to keep up with game changes.

The range is now set to 13000.
It was 13000 also in the previous upgrade.

I wonder how you measured it and know what exactly the range is.

there is a slight chance that the number is set twice which would be an error but errors happen.
I will try to find out.

Andy, can you fix the worker shortages in all my countries please?

The country i was ranging to is 12000 which is under the 13000
But it is giving an error and saying air transport units range is 10000
This is on WG
