Paradox isn't being bought, but they are going public.

Paradox will do the buying. The IPO will give it some walking around money to buy other game companies and publishing rights. Last year Paradox bought a small game developer called White Wolf Publishing, which has videogames about vampires and werewolves.

They're on the lookout for more acquisitions. So if anyone hears of any game they could buy and improve, send them the tip. Ahem.

Oddly, White Wolf used to be owned by a company whose game I played obsessively several years ago. I guess they sold it once they realized that they weren't going to conquer the gaming world like they dreamed of.

I play a game called Torn.
