W3C - game changes

We have recently increased the size of most types of military units.
This is a third or fourth change and we will increase sizes even further.

We will ASAP change the description of countries into leader countries and satelite countries.

Although this is only a word change, it is used in many ways and a global change cound go wrong.
We will do it ASAP.

I will also add Shoes industry!
This will be a consumption product, not used in the production of other products.

Can we also have a re-evaluation of the Navy? There is no viable strategy involving navy right now. I think allowing full navy customization would correct this problem. I understand the need for limiting the total size of the fleet, but please allow us to customize the number of weapons within that limit. I would prefer to include more Navy Fighter Planes and fewer defensive weapons in my fleets, but right now I am unable to do that. Every other unit allows for customization.

I feel so exhilarated! Thanks for your prayers, my angel. Yes, now ALL our sim peeps will be properly outfitted with shoes. :-D I just know that Shoes will be the most profitable industry in all of Simcountry! :-D

I am wondering which raw materials should be used.

Raw materials for shoes? Rubber. Cattle and chemicals as a stand-in for leather, unless you want to create a leather industry too. Industrial equipment.

Andy could we get an idea of what your guys vision is of navies in this game? What changes are you considering to make them viable in war?

Well my shoes are also used as weapons, Andy, my son. :P

Hello my son, Andrew!

I did my homework. In researching online, the most common materials you need in making shoes are:

1. Leather
2. Textiles (e.g. cotton, polyester, wool, nylon...also rayon, lycra and polypropylene) Cloth materials also - satin and fleece.
3. Synthetics
4. Rubber
5. Foam
6. Wood
7. Cork

in the mean time shoes are in the production system but we did not want to add so many other products like foam, cork etc.

It will be in the next upgrade, probably in the coming week.

I was collecting some data and saw someone named their corporations Shoes. Thinking "That's probably Luxury Goods..." I clicked to check and it actually was Shoes! Then I really had to check if I just had a hole in my memory of they were added after I left.

This was a nice touch.

Hum, I could have sworn they were always shoes. Damn Mandela effect...
