Someone clearly has too many gold coins

So, I was just outbidded on a population transfer from the game master. Either someone didn't realize they were paying more than they needed to for the very same thing, or they just have too many gold coins. Haha.

I know how it feels.

It is possible that at the time of the bid, every batch of population already had a bid on it, and the player didn't want to wait and see if more population was going to become available, so they upped the bid. I have seen this happen, and in fact have done it myself once or twice. Wasn't me this time, tho.

Dont worry about it, new pop becomes available every few min. This is a very long game grasshopper.

Where do all the new people come from?

@Teddy bear: normally I would agree, but various sudden and drastic rule changes over the last few years have made me somewhat paranoid...
