Gamemaster is recking simcountry (White Giant)

danny, my liberal friend, please don't wreck urself. I know you're on a phone and stuff , but maybe you haven't noticed the ban hammer swinging lately. If you have then just quit already, this song has been sung for as long as I've been playing here.

Not criticizing you because I feel your pain as do many others but I just wanted to give you a friendly heads up. Don't fall for it man. This will get you nowhere fast and ever closer to eternal silence.

After only recently returning to the game, I must admit the space stuff isn't appealing at all.

It's my opinion that focusing on already made content and expanding that will have a far better effect. There are some really solid suggestions in this forum that do just that.

Then again, I have yet to explore the space program for myself.

Maybe it's the resistance to change people seem to have? Possibly for a good reason. We'll soon see.

This game might have some minor flaws and glitches, but on the whole its very good.
But then, the GM decides (ignoring the people who actually pay to play who don't want it) to go into space, thus creating a whole new set of glitches and problems and rip-offs (and space stations which cost GCs) and time some people don't have, and if they can't get nukes and other products any other way, some people are going to leave forever.
I agree with RagingPencil, expand on the qualities which have made the game in the first place- venturing out into unchartered waters will always upset your support base. I can hardly imagine in a few years, people looking back and thinking this was a move in the right direction for SC- much like there seems to be a general unhappiness with the war levels.
As for the banning of people who speak out against SC on their forums- thats what China doe

The banning of people has to do with the choice of words.
we will make sure language remains decent and correct.
We invite you to be critical but once you start bitching, you will be out.

As to the space game, you don't have to play it.
I see many do and I see many trade products etc.
but other don't and keep to their countries.

This is most relaxed forum I have come across with regards to language and personal abuse. Dont do it and you wont get banned. Good for the GM I say.
A bit of this wouldn't go amiss in the chat rooms either.

it is their game ,and i think space is going to be a great addition to it. there always will be glitches, as some people see them, but others see a challenge!
