However if is my sad duty to inform the UC of John recent actions, which are antithetical to peace and disturbing since it is the holidays and all.

Yesterday a particularly disturbing attack occurred on Christmas eve, as GREF was considering peace or at least a cease fire, but no John had to be the aggressor. John...deccing on me and nuking me are very odd ways to ask for a peace treaty.

Couple days ago a UC noob decced on me, so I returned the favor and decced back. John decced on both the countries involved with this noob, so I decced back on John...knowing that this was all just positioning and that I had no intentions of taking the noobs countries. Meanwhile John and Aqua had come to an arrangement and I figured peace was on the horizon, but in this busy holiday time the GREF Council and members at large were busy, so conversation was
