btw, Tendo is slowing his participation in the game and doesn't log on as much anymore. It took him a month to win first prize and he didn't feel like there was that much left to do.

This is my fault. Washington Pmed me and asked for financial aid. I looked at his slave New York by accident. I was a bit rushed that day. I knew he was new to GREF and assumed he was new to the game. I then asked Tendo by in game message. Tendo just took my word for it.

This falls solely on my shoulders and I apologize for it. No on in GREF new about it because I asked Tendo. Tendo has not been around much he is dealing with some RL issues that are having an effect on his playing time.

I will definitely do my homework better next time.

actually it took me 10 weeks , to be honest i didnt even look at his country, i just received a message from some1 requesting aid for washington, and as the council has so much money laying around i usually propose any requests i receive.

Wendy, this was certainly not an attempt to abuse the system, you know me a little and i think you know that i am not the sort of guy who would abuse anything.

My apologies if washington is not eligible, as i said i didnt take the time to look at his country as i had never seen him in the ranks so i just assumed he was. An error on my part.

It may seem that i propose aid for GREF members, however this is not the case, i will propose aid for ANYONE that asks, normally i will check whether i think they are eligible or not, in this case i just did not look, as i have not spent much time on here lately.

I am just starting my term on the SC, but was one of the original guys pushing for a set of criteria that the majority of players could live with back when they were getting voted down constantly.

I humbly request aid for myself. I've been playing approximately one month. I'm now over 90 on all my indexes (including 102 on my Welfare index) except for my finance index. I had to spend a huge amount to conquer my one (no president) country, then spent a fortune getting my defense index up past 75, so a now my finance index is a dismal 58. I made some rookie mistakes in these efforts, at first buying very expensive Interceptors rather than MIB's and I wasted tanks and artillery trying to take fortifications before knocking out the air support units. I won't give you the particulars as I think you can get it at "Mullin" and "LLano". And thanks for putting up with my "belly-aching".

Make sure to read the forums, I think you'll find some good tips on improving your finances. One biggie - either turn off auto-hiring levels in your corps and lock them to 100% hiring and production, and/or close some corps so that all remaining corps are able to have 100% hiring levels.

Then consider lowering taxes to 10% or under and inviting CEO corps in. Setting profit sharing to 70%ish will allow you to still make $$ from your state corps, and as long as you have free workers and advertise on the forums, CEO corps should start setting up shop on your turf and you'll start making some go cash - they'll pay you fees regardless of your tax rate.
