A quick question (or 2)!!! (Little Upsilon)

Hello all.....I know i have been on here for a while, but i have a few questions if anyone can help me out. I have recently invaded my 1st C3 - and have a few questions;

1. Is it possible to take a C3 using only air units?
2. What is the quickest way of taking a C3 in easy steps?

1. Yes, but if you can use LRDs to paint the map then I suggest you do that. If you border the C3, then you will need to move LRD near each target you attack by air for maximum effectiveness (applies with below steps also).

2. Step one, pick target as county and attack defenses with either FP or NFP until no Air Defense Respons.
Step two, Paint the map with LRD as much as possible, if possible.
Step three, use LRD, PB wings, LBCB, CMB, NFP, or CMS, to attack defenses on each target and then attack target. Personally, I go in this order: Capital, Cities, Towns, Counties, Forts, and Corporations. Continue painting the map as much as possible, if possible.
Step four, you should have the country by now.

Good info...I think. I assume that LRD=long range division and FP=fighter planes. But I have no idea what the following are:
NFP
PB wings
LBCB
CMS

NFP: Navy Fighter Planes
PB wings: Precision Bomber wings
LBCB: Land-Based Cruise Battery
CMS: Cruiser Missile Ship (I think)

I actually tried it - my airforce invaded a C3 all by itself!!!

Special forces troops can paint the map and they are less painful to airlift.

I have a finacial question....Am I right in stating that the total costs for the month are deducted the 1st-13th of any given month and after the 14th you should receive your total income for the month?I'm really having trouble getting a handle on how the finances work here...
