Chemical Missile Batteries? (Little Upsilon)

Will Nuclear Defense Batteries actually destroy Chemical Missile Batteries, or do they just shoot down the chem missiles?

Just the Missiles. I do not think there is anyway do destroy missile batteries just bombers and subs.

OK thanks. I think it's time for me to begin a strategic weapons program that isn't dependent on reams and reams of red tape, then. Bwahahahaha.
