GM Please Help

Andy or Anyone, Please check Carolina Trading Corporation on KB. Suddenly overnight the enterprise is taking trillions in loans each game month despite the fact there is trillions in cash in the enterprise. I have been paying the loans back immediately but as soon as I stop doing this it will drive the enterprise into bankruptcy and I cannot see how to stop it. It does not make sense.

I have just emailed you for help.

The crazy problem related to all my cash transferring to the corps and then loans being received to replace the cash stopped as suddenly as it started. However, please check it out. I am glad it stopped or it would have been disastrous. As it would it cost me a ton of cash paying interests on the loans even though I immediately paid them back. Thanks

There was a huge surge in loans taken in your enterprise. This was caused by a significant cash transfer from your enterprise to your corporations. With 750 corps this kind of thing can be fatal.

As far as I could tell it only happened once and stopped because the crash transfer to your corps was reversed.

Please post if it happens again, or if was not caused by a blanket change in cash reserves in your corps.

Thank you and yes I received your email replies as well. I manually transferred the cash back to the enterprise when I saw what happened. Then I repaid all those loans that I did not need - with interest. It actually happened a second time the following game month but I was waiting to see if it happened again and immediately responded but if you notice again a smaller number of loans were automatically taken. I totally agree if I had not checked when I did it would have destroyed the enterprise. Whatever caused the cash transfer it was not by any action I took. I am certainly hoping it was a one time glitch.

As you are sure you didn't cause the cash transfer, we'll look into if it could have been a glitch.

Please check Carolina Trading Corporation on KB. It is continuing to transfer trillions from the enterprise into the corporations each month and I manually have to transfer it back. If I allow this to happen for 2 game months with no intervention these cash transfers will trigger the massive loans again and it will bankrupt this enterprise.

I'll ask an engineer to thoroughly check this enterprise. I can't see what is causing the problem myself.

The corporations obviously need more cash and the enterprise moves cash into the corporations.
the corporations now have enough cash.

Then, you move the cash back and the corporations have cash levels that are too low and the automatic transfer repeats itself.

As I already said before:
1. You can reduce the cash needs by reducing the order quantities for the corporations. They will then buy less and need smaller amounts of cash.
2. Do not manually move the cash back.

If your corporations make profits, the problem will eventually disappear.

In case many of your corporations are making losses, the problem will not be resolved and you need to close loss making corporations.

Thanks. Whatever happened was a one time event. Not sure I did anything to trigger such a massive response by the system but thanks for the reassurance you did not find anything. As for the loss making corporations you are referring to they are cyclic for the product they produce - Defensive weapons maint. During that time they were making losses but if you look now those same corps are making huge profits. They have been on this roller coaster for a long time. Thank you for your response and help.
