Public Corporations (Little Upsilon)

Although I have more than one year experience on this game, I have never been schooled on the Public Corporations.
I am pleading with any of you Public Corporations guru's to please give me some tutoring. I will keep your teachings very secret as I understand there are a lot of 'trade secrets' involved here.

1) Why do many of the corps I go public with (25% or less of major share holder) tend to plummit in value, like from
