Security Council Money

I couldn't propose aid for two people who requested aid. Messages have been sent informing you. However, the third person in line was eligible so aid has been proposed.

This clears my queue. Please send more aid requests. It looks like the point where I can propose aid is immediately after general voting for my last proposal concludes.

I will also propose aid for any who qualify. use it wisely. Continue to post here if you need aid. To voting members: It is in our own best interests to give this aid when at all possible, to help expand our markets and possibly help a new player become an economic powerhouse down the road. Once upon a time, I received aid myself. It costs us nothing extra,(so far), and there is no real reason to vote against any proposal unless that player has expressd an intent to use it for aggresive purposes, and let's face it: 2T is not going to buy enough weaponry to make anyone a threat.

Can I get Bumble Town and Strenhold added to the list for funds? I keep watching for the votes to come to the rest of us and voting when called on. I agree with you that the money doesn't do any good just sitting around! lol

Unfortunately, I received the following message trying to propose aid: "You cannot give Development Aid to Presidents who already reached Game Level 3." I must apologize, but the system will simply not allow me to propose aid.

In yet more unfortunate news, the previous aid proposal was shot down in general voting by the unnerving display of ignorant contrarianism by opponents of passing out free money that would otherwise go to waste forever sitting in a cold steel vault where nobody will be able to smile and enjoy their time on this world with everything that money can provide. I appeal to all presidents of Kebir Blue to not once, not ever let another travesty like this happen again! We must unite this money with presidents that need it so that roads, schools, hospitals, and defenses may be built to protect and provide for their citizens. NEVER AGAIN!

I must have missed this proposal, and I apologize. I almost always vote to give aid. and I ran into the same problem of not being able to make a proposal due to recent proposals. resubmit and I will try to catch it in time.

To be clear it was general voting, not security council voting... so it was your average joe banana republic dick-tator that voted against it.

To be honest Scarlet, a lot of these countries that get proposed would benefit far more from some advice. I do vote no occasionally if I see a country that is just wasting all on military. I would normally message them with advice.

I feel that if a Security Council member takes it upon him/herself to propose a country for aid, then they should at least mentor them a bit.

I've voted both ways, but if I see a country asking for aid that has a huge military I just about always shoot it down. I don't think someone who spends billions on military then beg all of us for money. Thanks for trying Mizore.

Hey my country needs money. I own two countries the Imperium of Galacia and the province of Mendaro. They are in a bad economic crisis and my main nation the imperium has no CEO corps. Can someone send me money or at least make a CEO corp in my country please.

I'm not exactly new to this game, but I haven't played in quite awhile, and was hoping that you would request aid for Arcadia (my country) in LU. I plan on running a peaceful country for the time being, and look toward expansion of my empire after achieving lvl 3.

There is a Security Council resolution being voted on to give untied developmental aid to the Grand Empire of Linusia. I proposed it and it was passed by the Council members but it is losing the general vote right now. This is a new player who is really trying hard. I mentored him for a about 3 weeks before I submitted the proposal for him. He has followed my advice and has done things right. He just needs some money to continue building his schools, hospitals, infrastructure and corps. He has not spent money on military or nukes and I am convinced he will not use this money for that either. If I wasn't sure of him I would not have proposed the aid for him. I ask you to take a look at his country and if you believe this new player deserves a chance to succeed please vote in favor of this resolution. And do the same for other deserving players. Thank you.

He might be losing because of heavy defense spending. Has 100 forts, nearly 400k soldiers, and is building defense corps that wont make money. He would be positive in monthly profits, even without beginning booster, if he were not spending over $5B on monthly defense upkeep.

I would have trouble voting for it also. He needs to sell or at least deactivate some part of his military and focus on profitable corps.

Good points Aries. Those slipped in there or I would have given him the same advice. I have now communicated this to him for him to decide what he wants to do with our advice. I think many of us made mistakes early on especially with military spending. But if you look at his indexes he hasn't ignored that important part of the game. I still think he is a good, active new player and we should give him this one chance to use our generosity to build his country. Also he has been very receptive to advice Aries so I don't think he would mind if you wanted to share some tips directly with him.

And the more assets he has, the more there is to raid later ;)

Very true Crafty. I agreed with your earlier advice about doing some mentoring and not just proposing to give them money. So I tried for whatever my advice may be worth.

Developmental Aid is available to qualified Kebir Blue countries. You can message any member of the Security Council, including me, with a request for aid up to 2T.Thus far, the only limitations in proposing aid that I'm aware of are that you must have less than $2T and have not yet reached Game Level 3. This is not a loan and no repayment is required.

Although none of this is required by the Security Council it is the the reality - the presidents voting on the aid for you are going to want to see your financials so unlock them if locked. Most are going to vote against you if you have a large amount of military spending or weapons corps in your country. If you have not read all of this thread and others please do so and you will see what I am talking about. Be sure you are trying to properly manage your finances before requesting aid.
